Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving Day! We hosted a late lunch at our house for Kevins family. Kevin made a wonderful meal. Ryder had an awesome time with his Uncle Brian.

Gratitude

IN honor of Thanksgiving....I would like to mention some of the wonderful blessings I am thankful for this year.
  • My faith in God that brings perspective and hope.
  • My husband whom gives unconditional love and forgiveness when I do not deserve it.
  • My 13 month old sweet baby boy who is as vibrant and healthy as can be.
  • A career that provides rewards beyond monetary measure.
  • Friends whom give endless love, time and emotional suppport.
  • My family whom provide lots of fun loving memories with each visit.
  • Our home.
  • My health.
  • My pets Payton and Sonny.

So those are just a few that came to mind. WE are very thankful for my best friend Carissa and her family too. We just returned from a roadtrip to visit family and friends. Here are a few pics of the boys together.

Ryder loves the boys! He watches and follows them everywhere.

Ryder getting delerious.

Impossible to get a good pic of the 3 together. Someone was always looking away or getting goofy.
We had a great time visiting the Plues. We are trying to enjoy my work furlough and visiting a lot of family this week.
My dear friend also took me to the movies after the kids were in bed. I got to see New Moon. She lectured me for 20 minutes afterwards about how stupid it was & how crazy I was for wanting to watch it. I told her the rest of America must be crazy with me then.
Thank you Carissa for everything!

Thursdays

Thursdays are one of Ryders favorite days of the week. He gets to stay home with his daddy all day while mommy goes to work. It is Kevins scheduled day off every week. This week I found these photos on our camera after the 2 of them were together all day. I also found some adorable videos. Ryder looks happy and fed. These 2 like to play and have fun.

There goes another onsie. Daddy does not believe in bibs I guess!
Moo shoo Porky!

Maybe trying to lick up the leftovers.
Strutting his stuff with some wild hair.
Checking out his new slinky dog from Pat & Kate.
This kid loves to bust a move....even to country.
The other video is of him throwing his golf club around. Don't look at the mess in the background.

Tidbits

We have been busy having fun. Ryder loves playing with all his new toys and random household supplies.

Playing with plastic wrap.

oh I can chew on this too....until momma took it away

helping daddy cook
loves his new farm fridge toys...

Ryder is growing and loving life. He is almost 13 months. How the time flies. Kevin & I are enjoying him as he does more all the time. He likes to run from us and play hide & seek in his room. He hides behind the glider. When we find him he laughs so hard he can hardly breath. He loves to dance to music & eats all the attention up.
Who needs TV? We have an entertainer right here at home.

Quiet

It has been a peaceful week. October was a busy month full of work and social commitments that kept us running. I am enjoying the change of pace and quality time with Ryder. He has continued to make new developments each week. He has found his voice in the past 2 weeks. This has resulted in lots of screaming and odd noises. He screams when he is mad and happy. It can be funny and frustrating. I am finding more and more enjoyment in his new abilities and interactions, but wow he is strongwilled and full of sass already.

He is also a big Bears fan like his daddy!
