Boys will be boys

As Carissa said... the above picture sums up last weekend. We traveled to Peoria to stay with Carissa and the boys while all the guys went on a golf trip.
Ryder adores the boys. He followed them everywhere! He chased them, kissed them, hugged them, climbed on them...you name it.
They are so cute! I think Brendon might need to pee.

We had a good time watching the boys run and play. We got to relax saturday morning when Carissa took me out to get mani/pedi's and lunch. Otherwise we chased these critters around all weekend. I did not take enough pics. Too busy I guess.

Oh Boy!

We found out last week we are having another healthy baby boy. We are excited to be having 2 boys so close in age who will share many wonderful memories. I am happy to re-use all of Ryders clothes and boy things too. I would have had a hard time saying goodbye to it all just yet.

Most importantly the baby is looking developmentally healthy, and on pace with expectations. He is already about a pound. This pregnancy seems to be going by so quickly. Parts of me wants it to go by quickly so I can meet my newest little one, and then there are days I want to embrace it all in case it is my last time being pregnant.

Kevin and I kinda want a 3rd, but are realistic with reserving that decision till after #2 is here for a while. We will see what God brings us the next few years. For now I will be the only female in the house with 5 boys!

A few bad habits

I found my first pair of glasses from childhood yesterday. I could not resist putting them on Ryder. He looked adorable in them. They have no lenses anymore. I need to get my mom to scan an old photo of me in them so you can see how I looked in them at age 3.

He is gripping his bottle and paci before bedtime. 2 habits to be broken soon. He is not attached to the bottle anymore and does fine with cups all day, but at night we still use one sometimes. The paci is another story.

He is so cute!

My sweet boy.

This sweet boy make me feel like Mothers Day is everyday. He keeps getting sweeter with affection every day. No doubt there are periodic tantrums in between, but they are quickly forgiven with his crazy charm.

He had his 18 month appointment last Friday.
Weight 25 Lb's 40%
Height 34 In. 90th%
Head not sure, but 80th%
He took his one shot as well as possible.
We are grateful for a very healthy and happy little boy.

21 Weeks

Over half way there! I figured I should take some pics before I get all the way to the end like last time. I am feeling pretty good. Baby is moving more and more daily. It was surreal until the baby starting moving. I feel this is when it really becomes real to me, and I want to meet the baby. Of course I can wait a bit longer. Not quite ready yet.

Not sure about why my belly looks oddly shaped in this pic. I only have 1 bump.

Integrity

-adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.

Why is this so hard to find in others anymore????

I do not feel upholding integrity is always easy. Sometimes it means confronting someone, or a situation when you really don't want to.
