Bowman Getaway

My parents rented a large cabin at Grizzley Jacks Resort near Starved Rock in early August. We had a great weekend with the kids.

The entire clan with the Plues who also joined us part of the weekend.
Ryder & Grandpa Bowman
The BowmanThurstons- a sleeping Wyatt.
Exploring everywhere he goes.

Uncle Jesse

At the waterpark with grandpa
They had an amazing assortment of bounce houses for the kids to play in. Ryder was sweating like crazy.

Ryder & Logan playing games.

Looking forward to making more fun filled family memories in the future.
Thanks Mom & Dad for a great time!!

Trains

Well I have really fallen behind on blogging with work and 2 kids. I am not sure who even reads anyway, but I like to do it for my own personal account of events.
We have had a busy summer full of activity and fun. We luckily made it to the Thomas Event at the train musuem in August. Ryder was so crazed by Thomas everything.

Ryder with Uncle Brian and Grandpa Thurston

Sitting in an old commuter car.
Ryder & Grandpa Tom
We were lucky to have Grandpa join us from Atlanta.
Wy trying to grab at the model trains.
Making a run for Thomas. What you don't see is Thomas traveling on the side.

Fiesty pants who refused to nap all day.

He makes the funniest faces!

There is a small glimpse at the overpriced small Thomas ride.

The Thurston Boys.

WE had a great day. Beautiful weather and the kids were pretty good. Well as good as expected without naps.

My Sweet Moo Shoo

My sweet boy will soon be 3.

Where has the time gone???
Time may pass quickly, but we love you more each and every day.
You are full of love and joy.
My sweet meat,
There are moments that bring on challenges as you become more independent. Most of our moments are filled with happiness and joy. I love your little voice and growing comfort with new words. You are so affectionate with your daddy and I. You wrap your arms around me and put your nose up to mine and rub my nose (nose kisses). It is one of the little things we have done since you have been a baby. You hold my neck tight as you hug me. It is the sweetest to watch you grow into a loving little boy. As much as I am saddened by the days going by I look forward to the days ahead. Sometimes I think you get jealous or sad that Baby Wyatt gets a lot of attention, but I want you to know you are loved, you are loved more than you will ever know.
May God continue to grow us, providing direction, and wisdom to our paths as parents.
Love momma
