28 Weeks!

Time has flown by with Baby T2. Only 12 weeks to go. I began journaling at the start, but that stopped by the 4th month. Where is the time for that?

We do not have a name picked out yet. We like to wait till the last minute. I am starting to get a little anxious because we have not even cleared out the room for him. We still need to order a bed and a few other things before arrival. We can go the Pac n play route if he comes early.

I have been feeling fantastic to the point of forgetting I em even preganant until the past 2 weeks. I am really starting to pop out. The weather makes me feel more tired an sluggish too. All my doctor appointments have been uneventful, which is good. I did the glucose screen last visit. I am assuming all is well since I have not received a call.

I go for the next check-up in 2 weeks (30 weeks). Then I will begin going every 2 weeks for routine checks. We have our final ultrasound at the end of July (32 weeks). I can't wait to see the little guy. He has been so busy in my belly over the past couple weeks. He is very active. I like knowing he is alive and well, but it can be distracting while working.

In the meantime we are enjoying our summer as 3 or 5 if you count the fury family members. We have a lot of family time scheduled for July. Can't wait to watch my nephew and Ryder hang out over the next month.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer as well.

Fathers Day

We enjoyed fathers day around home this year. We went to an early lunch and then to Sports Authority to buy Kevin some new running shoes. Ryder ran away during our trip to Sports Authority. I thought 2 adults could keep him contained, but I was wrong! I heard him across the store, saying "ball, ball." He was checking out all the balls near the front door.
After we got him up from his nap we headed to a 9 hole course near home so Kevin could golf. It was beautiful outdoors.

Ryder attempted to steal all the golf balls.
First put.
Checking out the clubs.
He loved the cart.

We had a great time, but Kevin coud not concentrate at all. Ryder took off again on the course. WE had to chase him down. I think its time to purchase a harness or leash.
Kevin and I missed our own fathers who live out of town. It is hard when relatives are spread across the state or country.
We are blessed to having amazing fathers in our family!

Kevin's B-Day

We had a few friends over for Kevins birthday. It was nice to catch-up with some of his old college roomates. We shared lots of laughs and missed a few that did not get to make it. We were entertained by Ryder and one of his girlfriends Maddy.

Helping daddy start the grill.
Loves his snacks like momma and dadda....and chubs!

Blessed

Today I became overwhelmed by feelings of sorrow for a dear, and cherished friend. She has been trying to conceive a baby for a couple years with no luck. Most recently she has been tested, and attempted a few fertility drugs to assist with no success. This week she was told she willl never be able to bare her own child due to being in a late stage of endometriosis. She is one of the strongest women I know, and demanded I waste no time being sad, or having "pitty" for her. She and her situation inspire me to feel blessed, and thankful for my children.

In the last few years I have come to realize that natural concepetion is not a given, but a blessing. I have a few friends that are trying hard to conceive. I continue to pray they will have happy and healthy babies someday. Once you have children you pray God will protect them from harms way. My heart aches for those parents that lose a child. There are not guarantees in life. We all have struggles and pain at some point. It is sometimes hard to feel blessed when you are busy focusing on all the other issues staring you in the face.
Thank you God for blessing me with many things I take for granted everyday.

Best Buds

Ryder had a playdate with his buddy Jake. They are both so active and got along so well. We had a great time watching them together. We did not stay at the park long since it was 90 plus that day.
So what do best buds do together???
play.....
share their drinks...
maybe not...
swing together....
Eat together....

Look out the window together in their underware....?
We can't wait to play again!

Boys will be boys

As Carissa said... the above picture sums up last weekend. We traveled to Peoria to stay with Carissa and the boys while all the guys went on a golf trip.
Ryder adores the boys. He followed them everywhere! He chased them, kissed them, hugged them, climbed on them...you name it.
They are so cute! I think Brendon might need to pee.

We had a good time watching the boys run and play. We got to relax saturday morning when Carissa took me out to get mani/pedi's and lunch. Otherwise we chased these critters around all weekend. I did not take enough pics. Too busy I guess.

Oh Boy!

We found out last week we are having another healthy baby boy. We are excited to be having 2 boys so close in age who will share many wonderful memories. I am happy to re-use all of Ryders clothes and boy things too. I would have had a hard time saying goodbye to it all just yet.

Most importantly the baby is looking developmentally healthy, and on pace with expectations. He is already about a pound. This pregnancy seems to be going by so quickly. Parts of me wants it to go by quickly so I can meet my newest little one, and then there are days I want to embrace it all in case it is my last time being pregnant.

Kevin and I kinda want a 3rd, but are realistic with reserving that decision till after #2 is here for a while. We will see what God brings us the next few years. For now I will be the only female in the house with 5 boys!
